Music audience
I personally consume music throughout the day, also ages similar to me said the same. This is because it is popular for teens to listen to music wherever they are through headphones where as older ages wouldn't use headphones as much and they may only listen to music through the radio e.g. on the way to work. Younger people however use iPods/phones/laptops more often which is what they use to listen to music. Where as it is less typical for an older person to be 'addicted' to their phone therefore listen to less music.
Younger people are also more into the music itself as they are more associated with festivals compared to an older person and more music currently is aimed at the younger audience.
